How it Works

You can request, receive and review your background checks directly in Talos ATS. Background screening requests are sent immediately to Credence to process without the need to log in to any additional software. This means your applicant tracking system can be used as your software for background checks too – your all-in-one hiring solution.

You can see the live status of these checks in your ATS, ensuring transparency and visibility throughout the entire pre-employment screening process. You can also download candidate background check documentation, which is securely stored within Talos ATS.

Setting up a Background Check

Information: background checks can only be sent to a candidate if they are sat within the Offered or Hired milestone of the job post they have applied for.

Locate the candidate you would like to send a background screening to, and select the 'Credence Check' accordion:

Select the package you would like to send to the candidate from the 'Available Packages' dropdown:

Complete any of the additional information fields that appear based on the package that has been selected and click on 'Request Check' to submit the information to the candidate via Credence:
