Reporting Intelligence is our AI-powered feature from Tali that lets you ask questions in plain English and instantly receive ready-made reports. For example, you could ask “Show me applications by source” or “How many applications were submitted this week?” The more you use it, the smarter and more accurate it becomes.

Early Access Notice: Reporting Intelligence is currently in early access. Always review and verify any reports produced by Tali before relying on them for decision-making.

Access & Permissions:

Reporting Intelligence is part of the Reporting+ package. To use it, you’ll need the permissions “Can use Reporting” and “Can use Reporting Intelligence.” These permissions ensure you can open Reporting Intelligence and interact with the reports it produces, if you dont currently have this feature and want to find out more, reach out to yoru Account Manager.

How to access Tali reporting:

Tali can be accessed anywhere in the system. Simply select the Tali Assistant menu from the header, and you’ll have Reporting Intelligence with you wherever you are in Talos, keeping insights close at hand at all times.

You will also have the option to “Ask Tali” directly from your dashboards. Any report you add to a dashboard will include an option to Ask Tali, allowing you to explore the data further by asking new questions about that specific report.

Hints and Tips when using Talis:

What to ask Tali:

  • Explore with prompts: After selecting a reporting model, try asking “What can I ask you about?” to see suggestions tailored to that model.

  • Keep the conversation going: Once you receive a response, ask “What can I ask next?” for follow-up ideas and deeper insights.

  • Ask more at once: You can request multiple reports in a single message, and Tali will generate them all at the same time.

  • Understand your data: Not sure how a report is calculated? Just ask “How is this report calculated?” to get an explanation of the data behind it.

  • Growing smarter every day: Tali may sometimes suggest example questions that don’t yet return perfect results—but as it learns, these will continue to improve.

Example breakdown of a question to ask Tali:

"How many TrustIDs have been sent in the last 6 months? Show it monthly."

"How many" → Tali knows you want a count (e.g., a number, chart, or graph).

"TrustIDs have been sent" → Tali looks for TrustID request data.

"In the last 6 months" → Filters results to the correct timeframe.

"Show it monthly" (optional) → Formats results in a monthly breakdown.

Remember: The above are only guides and not rules, Tali adapts to natural questions too. Since AI can occasionally interpret things differently than intended, please review the results to ensure they meet your needs.
