Advert templates in Talos can be used to pre-populate certain pieces of information for a vacancy when you are posting this on the system.

This can cut down on posting time, eliminate any errors from copying this from outside the system and ensure a smoother process when posting your roles.

Create an Advert Template

Go to the Manage Advert Templates screen to manage your advert templates in the system. Click on 'Add New Template' to open up the advert template builder page:

On the 'Create Template' page complete the form with any relevant information about the job role. For example, if you recruit for a 'Team Member' in a restaurant you can complete the basic information of the role as these may be the same for every posting:

  • Job Title

  • Primary Industry

  • Business Type

  • Type of Employment

  • Currency

  • Salary

  • Advert Copy

  • Application Form

The poster of the role can then update any other information at the point of posting the role to make this more bespoke for the restaurant/location.

Once you are happy with the information on the template, click on 'Save Advert Template' at the bottom of the page.

Linking Advert Template

To be able to select an advert template at the point of posting a role, this will need to be linked to either:

  • Hierarchy team

  • Posting team

Click on the 3-line menu under 'Edit' and select either of the below depending on how you would like this to be assigned:

  • Assign to Hierarchy Teams

  • Assign to Posting Teams

Information:

Linking an advert template to a hierarchy team will only make it available if that team is selected when posting.

Linking an advert template to a posting team will only make it available for that posting team. If the posting team has not been assigned to the hierarchy team that has been selected for the job post, it will not be available

More information can be found in our Managing Advert Templates guide for setting up and amending advert templates.
