Talos has several 3rd party assessment integrations integrated within the system.

Learn how to have Zinc setup within your ATS, so you can request candidates to completed background checks and assessments.

Note: you will need access to the Integrations Management administration permission to setup the integration

Setup

Required Information

  • API Key

Your Account Manager or the Talos Support team will be able to request this for you.

Linking Zinc to Talos

Go to the Talos Marketplace and find the 'Zinc' integration and click on 'Connect':

Click on 'Enable this Integration' and complete the required fields and click on 'Save' to link the integration with your ATS:

Info: You can use Zinc via Talos360 which does not require an API Key or a Zinc account and this will allow you to select individual checks from the available list on the Integration setup page.

This is a chargeable service.

You can also setup your own Zinc account or be setup with an account by your Account Manager. This will allow you to connect your own account to Talos via an API Key which will allow you to use different packages of checks that you have setup on Zinc.

Assigning Zinc to Profiles

Go to the 'Edit Profile Settings' screen and select the relevant profiles from the 'Profile' dropdown that you would like to link the Elmo integration to.

Click on the 'Talos Connect' tab and then select the 'Zinc' integration from the list for Background Connect integrations:

Adding Auto Action to Progression Stages

Info: this is an optional step. If you would like to send candidates manually only, this step can be skipped.

You can also setup an Auto-Action to submit a candidate to Zinc automatically once they’ve have been moved to a specific progression stage.

Go to the 'Progression Stages Admin' screen and select the profile you would like to set the auto action up on. On a stage in the Offered or Hired millstone, select the progression stage you would like to setup the auto-action against, click on ‘Add Auto Action’ and then select the ‘Send to Talos Connect’ action from the dropdown list:

Click on 'Save' in the lower right-hand corner to update the progression stage settings.
