Learn how to get setup with Planday within Talos to onboard candidates

Talos has several HR providers integrated within the system.

Learn how to setup Planday within your ATS, so you can onboard candidates directly into your HR system.

Note: you will need access to the Integrations Management administration permission to setup the integration

Setup

Required Information

The below details will be required to integrate Planday to Talos:

  • Client ID

  • Token

Both of these fields are provided by Planday, once an account has been created you will be able to find ClientID and token is stored in settings > Integrations > API access:

You will also need the data values for the below fields, from your Planday HR system, so these can be added to the relevant data capture forms in Talos:

  • Departments

  • Employment Group

  • Employment Type

The Field IDs for the Departments and Employee Groups can be found following the below steps:

Steps to get Field IDs

The field id values can be found don Planday once the Department and employment groups have been created on Planday. To create new department, go to People > Departments > Create Department

Fill in the create department fields and save once all Department you want are create you will be able to get the ID required.

Select the Department you have created you will then be able to copy the Department name and the ID (which is visible in the URL) and fill in the relevant question within the Internal Data Capture form in Talos.

Repeat the process for Employee groups People > Employee Groups > Create Employee Group.

Planday Support will be able to assist further in gathering the Employee Types from your system.
