Sharing allows users to share their reports and dashboards with other users within Talos ATS.
Note: to be able to share reports and dashboards you must have the "Can Share Reports and Dashboards" permission enabled.
The email address notifications are sent from is [email protected]. These emails contain a URL that will redirect you to the report or dashboard in Talos.
Sharing a Report
Open the report you would like to share and click on the share icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page:
You can search for users to share the report with, however, the user must have accessed the Reporting Suite at least once to be available in the list.
If you select your company name, this will share the report will all active users on Talos.
You can optionally send an email to the users you are sharing the report with, by ticking the 'Send Notification' option and you can also include a custom message if required.
An access level will also need to be granted to the users to the report that you are sharing:
Access Level | What it allows |
Can Edit | The user can modify and overwrite your report โ but only if they also have the "Can Manage Reports" permission. |
View Only | The user can view the report and add fields temporarily, but they cannot overwrite your version, regardless of their other permissions. |
Note: The options for sharing a dashboard are the same as sharing a report.
Data Visibility
Sharing a report does not grant access to the data the recipient wouldn't normally see.
For example: if a Talos Admin shares the 'Live Vacancies' report that includes all vacancies across all teams, and shares it with a Hiring Manager, the Hiring Manager will only see the vacancies they have permission to view.
