Moving or copying a candidates application from one role to another is quick and simple. It could be the candidate is move suited to a different open vacancy that you have advertised from the one they applied for, for example.
To move or copy a candidate you will need the name or email address of the candidate and the job reference they originally applied for, as well as the job reference you will be moving/copying the candidate to.
Moving a Candidates Application
Moving a candidates application from one vacancy to another will fully move the candidate from the role they originally applied for to the role you are moving them.
Information: once a candidates application has been moved from a role, they will not be able to apply for that role again, or be moved/copied into the role, as they have already applied for that role before.
To move a candidate's application, navigate to the candidate and select the checkbox next on their application card:
This will load an option to copy or move the applicant:
On the 'Reassign Applicant' screen you can select the job to move the candidate to (which can include expired, archived and speculative jobs), the option to copy or move the applicant and options to include the application form and/or notes:
Select the relevant options on the 'Reassign Applicant' screen and click on 'Confirm' to action the move.
A note will be added to the candidates application to confirm they have been moved from one vacancy to another:
Copying a Candidates Application
Copying a candidates application from one vacancy to another will copy the candidate from the role they originally applied for to the role you are copying them to. Their application will be visible in both vacancies and will be managed separately.
