Learn how to manually anonymise a candidates application for GDPR compliance

Has a candidate reached out to your Recruitment team to advise they would like their details removed from the system? Learn how to quickly and easily remove their details from the ATS.

Anonymising a candidates application manually can be actioned within the ATS against the candidates application and will remove all personable information from the system.

Anonymising a Candidate

To anonymise a candidates application within Talos, navigate to the candidate's application and click on the 'GDPR Compliance' accordion:

This will show you the candidates data retention date (when they will automatically be removed from the system) as well as the status of their GDPR compliance.

Click on the 'Anonymise Candidate' button to anonymise the candidate:

A pop-out information box will be shown to confirm you are happy for the candidates personal details to be removed from the system. Click on 'OK' to confirm this:

Note: the anonymisation process in Talos takes up to 7 days to remove all personal details of the candidate on your system and the action cannot be undone once started.

All data is irretrievable once deleted.

Once confirmed, the status of the GDPR accordion will be updated, as well as the date when the candidates data will be fully removed by:
