Do you need to send an ad-hoc email to a candidate asking for further information, or to give a member of the recruitment team a call, for example.
In just a few easy steps, you can send an ad-hoc communication (email, SMS or both) to a candidate when viewing their application.
Sending an Ad-Hoc Communication
Navigate to the candidate you would like to send an email/SMS to and click on the 'Communicate' accordion:
From the Communicate accordion, select the method (email, SMS or both) and the template you would like to use.
Within the 'Email Content' section, amend the email template to suit what you would like to send to the candidate. You can also attach any documents from your device to the email:
If you are also sending an SMS to the candidate, there will be a section to amend the SMS text.
Click on 'Generate Previews' in the lower right-hand corner of the page and this will generate a preview of the email and/or SMS for you to check before sending:
Note: if you are sending an SMS, in the preview screen in the lower left-hand corner, it will show you how many SMS credits you will use for that communication.
Click on 'Send' in the lower right-hand corner to send the communication to the candidate.
Bulk Send Communications
You can send ad-hoc communications in bulk by selecting multiple candidates within the same vacancy and selecting your communication method and amending the email/SMS template as required.
