We’re excited to introduce Interview Insights, a new feature that enhances our existing Interview Scheduler by enabling you to record and analyse interviews.
You can ask your AI Co-Pilot, Tali, questions about the interview to check for key job role requirements. You can even select from pre-defined AI-generated prompts to quickly locate key insights from your interview.
Note: to use Interview Insights in Talos, you will need access to the 'Can Record Interviews' user permission.
Enabling Interview Insights
When scheduling an remote interview for a candidate, the option to enable Interview Insights will be available to toggle on or off, depending if you want to transcribe the interview or not:
When the recording has been enabled a bot will automatically join the call to record and transcribe the interview.
Note: interviews must be scheduled at least 20 minutes in advance to ensure transcription functions correctly.
Accessing Recorded Video & Transcript
Once the recording has been completed and transcribed the detail can be accessed from either of the below locations:
The Interview Scheduled accordion against the candidates application
The Planner page for the organiser of the interview and any additional interviewers
The transcript will also be available, which will display:
Participant names and their corresponding dialogue. If a speaker cannot be identified, this will be logged as 'Unknown User'
Hyperlinked timestamps for each contribution, allowing you to click and jump to the exact moment of in the video
You can also filter the participants to only show dialogue from specific speakers:
You can also view all interviewers and candidates along with the percentage they contributed to the interview based on their talk time:
Searching the Transcript
A short summary of the interview is automatically generated by the AI, providing key highlights based on the transcript to help you quickly review essential discussions.
You can interact with the AI by asking specific questions about the interview, and the AI will generate relevant responses based on the transcript.
For transparency, the following details are recorded and displayed for each generated response:
Who asked the question
The date and time the question was asked
Note: if you have the 'Can Manage Responses' permission, you will have the ability to delete AI-generated search responses for you and other users, ensuring better control of stored insights.
