Information: Reporting and Dashboards is currently in a Closed Beta and not available to all users. For further information, please contact your Customer Success Manager.

Note: to be able to download or schedule reports and dashboards, you will need to have the 'Can Use Data Export Tools' permission and either 'Can Use Reports' or 'Can Use Dashboards'.

Downloading Reports

Reports can be downloaded in the below formats:

  • PNG

  • Excel

  • CSV

You can download a report by opening a report within the system and clicking on the 3-dot menu in the top-right hand corner and clicking on 'Download'. This will show you the options you can download the report in:

Note: single reports cannot be scheduled.

Downloading Dashboards

Dashboards can be downloaded from the system by opening a dashboard and clicking on the 3-dot menu and selecting 'Download PDF':

You can customise the below when downloading a dashboard:

  • Format

    • Liveboard - exports the dashboard as you see it

    • Visualisations - each report widget is rendered on a separate page

  • Orientation: landscape or portrait

  • Tabs: include all or select specific ones

  • Additional Options

    • Include Talos logo in the footer

    • Page numbers

    • Cover page

    • Filters page (summarises active filters)

    • Custom footer text (e.g. 'Confidential')

Scheduling Dashboards

Dashboards can be setup to be scheduled to send via email on a recurring basis. You can schedule a dashboard by clicking the 3-dot menu when viewing a dashboard and selecting 'Schedule':

When creating a schedule you can customise the below:

  • Schedule name

  • Add a comment - this appears in the email body and is optional

  • Set the frequency and the time for delivery

  • Add gating conditions - advanced criteria for sending and are optional

  • Choose attachment type - PDF, Excel or CSV

    • If PDF is selected, download options are available

  • Select the recipients this is to be sent to - type the username of the user in Talos to search

  • View settings - if any have been added to the dashboard

Once a schedule has been created, you can amend the schedule by opening the dashboard again, selecting 'Schedule' under the 3-dot menu and selecting 'Manage Schedule'
