What is changing?

Ignore my availability for all bookings - Setting update

If a user has this setting enabled, and there are no other users on the booking, you will not be able to create an interview using the smart scheduler.

At least one calendar needs to be available to use the Self Schedule options so that we can check availability. If the Organiser has Ignore my availability for all bookings switched on (either in the settings or ad hoc when creating a booking), availability will be calculated based on other users' calendars.

Disconnected Calendars

When a users calendar is in a disconnected state, you will not be able to create a booking if they are added as an interviewer.

Note: this is only applicable when a calendar has previously been connected, and the connection needs to be authenticated again.

If you are creating a booking and your calendar needs to be reconnected, you will not be able to load the booking modal and you will receive the below message:

If you are creating a booking and the calendar of an additional interviewer needs to be reconnected, you will be notified of this in the booking modal:

You will not be able to create a booking for a user until they have reconnected their calendar. This will ensure that any availability sent to the candidate is correct and up to date.

We highly recommend enabling the below notification, so that you are notified if and when your calendar needs to be reauthenticated. The notification can be enabled here:

Additional Improvements

  • Daily & Weekly Limits - we have resolved a bug fix with these settings, to ensure that limits are applied when sending interviews to candidates.

  • Timezone Improvements - as we are currently in British Summer Time (BST), when creating a Self Schedule booking, an additional day was displaying in the UI of Talos ATS. Custom Times were also looking an hour ahead in diaries due to it being BST. Both of these issues are now resolved.

  • Additional improvements to eliminate some errors.
