Talos allows you to setup your own availability slots within the Interview Booking feature, which gives other members of the recruitment team visibility of your availability to conduct interviews with candidates.

Creating a Global Slot

To create your availability slots, known as 'Global Slots' in Talos, you will need to access the Interview Dashboard and click on the 'Add Availability' button:

By default, the availability will be for your own user account, however, this can be changed so you are able to setup availability slots for other users if these are known. You can also select if you would like to setup a single slot, or multiple slots and the time-zone for these slots:

Single Slot

Select the date and the time from and to for the slot, and if this is to be either a physical location (such as head office or a branch), a telephone or a video interview. Click on 'Add Availability' once you are happy with the slot details:

You can view the newly created slot within Interview Dashboard:

Multiple Slots

Select the start date, start time and the duration of the interviews, as well as how many interviews you would like to schedule. You will also need to select if the interview is to be at a physical location (head office or branch), a telephone or video interview. Click 'Add Availability' when you are happy with the slot details:

Your new slots can be viewed within Interview Dashboard:

Deleting Slots

You can delete any slots that are no longer needed by clicking on the icon next to the slot:

Selecting a Global Slot

Any global slot that is setup for a user, that is in the future, will be available to select if that user is the primary interviewer when booking an interview for a candidate.

Within the Interview Booking screen, select the interviewer and if they have any global slots setup, they will be highlighted in blue. For more information on creating an interview booking, please see how guide here:

Any of these slots can be selected, however, a global slot can also be selected on other roles are the same time. Once a candidate has confirmed their interview, they will then 'take' this slot and it will be removed from any other job post it has been linked to when booking an interview.

Once you are happy with the setup of the interview, click on 'Send' in the bottom right-hand corner of the page to send the invite to the candidate.
