Use auto assessments to automatically move candidates based on set criteria

Talos' auto assessments streamline your hiring process by automatically moving candidates based on specific criteria.

Criteria can be applied to application forms, data capture forms, and video screenings, ensuring that only the most outstanding candidates are being reviewed, saving time and focus on the best talent with Talos' efficient and intelligent auto assessment feature!

Note: to utilise the auto assessment feature in Talos, you will need access to the 'Auto Assessment' admin module assigned to your user account.

Setting up Auto Assessments

Prerequisites

To use the auto assessment feature, you will need to have either:

  • Scoring questions against application and/or data capture forms if you plan to use auto assessments based on application or data capture forms

  • A video screening question set created and assigned to jobs

Application and Data Capture Forms

Find the job you would like to assign an auto assessment to in the Vacancies page and click on the 3 dot menu and then click on 'Job Settings':

Click on Auto Assessments and then select the relevant option from the available list:

Application and data capture forms are setup in the same way - you can select the progression stage this relates to (to move candidates from), the score to base the assessment on and the stage the candidate is moved to:

Once the criteria is met, the candidate will be moved to the stage based on what has been set in the auto assessment.

Multiple auto assessments can be setup at the same stage on the same job.

Example: you can set one assessment up so that candidates who scored over X score are moved onto the next stage of the recruitment process.

Candidates who scored equal to X amount are moved to a 'review' stage to be manually reviewed.

Candidates who scored less than X amount are automatically rejected.

Video Screening

The video screening auto assessment will move the candidate once they have completed their screening questions and submitted these to the ATS.

The question set will automatically be selected if there is only one video screening question set assigned to the vacancy and the status will automatically be set to 'Completed'.

You can select which stage the candidate will be moved to upon completion of their screening:
