The link isn’t loading the video interview room:
The video interview video room will only load on any ‘modern’ browser, an example of a modern browser is Chrome, Edge, or Firefox, however, we would advise using Chrome, if possible, when accessing a video interview hosted on Talos.
The video interview room is taking a long time to load:
When joining a video interview hosted on Talos for the first time, a pop-up will appear in your browser requesting access to your camera and microphone. If the permission is left, the video interview room will look like its loading indefinitely, however, this is the browser awaiting your choice on the permission pop-up.
The pop-up may show in the upper left or right corner, depending on which browser you are using.

My camera/microphone isn’t being picked up in the Video Interview:
Ensure that your camera and microphone are connected to your device you are accessing the video interview room from, and these are working correctly. Please also ensure the permissions have not been denied from the previous point.
My camera/microphone cannot be accessed by the video interview room:
It is advised to also close any browser tabs that you may have open that can interact with your camera and microphone, as this may cause issues when accessing the video interview room.
This is also the same if you have joined a call on Teams. As your camera and microphone can only be accessed by one application at any one time, it is advised to end/leave any calls you may be on, on your device prior to joining the video interview.
My video/audio is choppy:
We recommend a minimum of 1Mb/s (1 megabit per second) download and upload speed on the connection you are joining the video interview from. You will be able to test your network connection by using a network speed test tool such as https://speedof.me/ or https://www.speedtest.net/.
Close any applications that may also take a lot of bandwidth (network connection) as this will aid in the quality of your video interview and ensure there are no drops or delays with your audio or video.
If using Wi-Fi or a mobile phone network, please check the connection strength to ensure you have a stable connection.
