With Talos, you can create custom vacancy fields that help candidates find roles tailored to their unique criteria.
By assigning these custom fields to your careers page, you empower candidates to filter job openings based on specific attributes that matter to them, making it easier for them to discover the right opportunities within your organisation.
Note: you will need access to the 'Careers Page Management' administration permission to be able to create, amend and link Vacancy Custom Fields for/to your careers page.
Creating a Vacancy Custom Field
When signed into Talos, go to the Vacancy Custom Field administration page to create your custom fields and click on 'Add Item' in the upper right-hand corner of the page to add a new custom field:
On the 'Add Item' page, give your new custom field a title, and select the type the field needs to be:
Once you are happy with your custom field setup, click on 'Save' in the lower right-hand corner of the page.
Information: each of the field types for your custom fields will display differently when they are selected. These filters will only display when posting to your careers page.
Dropdown: this will provide you with a dropdown list to select from when posting a role.
Date Picker: this will provide a date picket calendar to select a date from when posting a role.
Free Text: this will allow you to enter text in the custom field when posting a role.
Image: this will allow you to select an image which will be displayed against the role.
