Talos has many useful permissions built into the system relating to users access, which grants the ability to do certain tasks within the ATS, as well as restrict access if required.

Learn how to setup Progression Stage and Milestone restrictions, which limits users from being able to move candidates in or out of Progression Stages or view candidates applications within a certain Milestone.

Note: Users can still move applicants into progression stages within these milestones unless stage-specific restrictions are also applied.

Progression Stage & Milestone Management

Progression Stages

Roles can now have controlled access to moving candidates into or out of specific progression stages. To setup Progression Stage Restrictions again a role, go to the 'Roles and Permissions' administration screen and click on 'Milestone and Stages':

Click on the Milestone dropdown via the left-hand side and under the role, select the relevant restriction against the required role:

Once you are happy with the updates, click on 'Save' in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

Milestones

Milestones can be restricted by toggling off the milestone against the specific role within the 'Roles and Permissions' screen:

Restricting a milestone will ensure any user assigned to the role will not be able to view candidates applications who are currently sat at the restricted milestone.
